introduction

I’m a South African architect with an MSc from TU Delft, passionate about how space is felt, shaped, and imagined at the human scale. My work explores the sensory and emotional dimensions of architecture — how light, texture, and material can sculpt atmosphere and influence perception.

I approach design as an iterative and tactile process, thinking through making and testing how form and feeling emerge together. I adapt intuitively to shifting contexts, respond to the subtle needs of people, and focus on the nuanced ways they experience space. I enjoy gathering insights, reflecting deeply, and connecting ideas to form cohesive, compelling design concepts.

I’m most inspired by environments that are grounded yet imaginative — spaces that adapt to their users and evoke emotion through material honesty, climate sensitivity, and careful attention to atmosphere. I believe architecture should move beyond function to become an experience — one that comforts, provokes, and offers new ways of seeing the world.

I hope to bring curiosity, adaptability, and a reflective approach to a studio that values dialogue, experimentation, and the careful development of ideas — where design is treated as both an intellectual and sensory practice..
